Chennai: The Triplicane police arrested the son of reality cooking show fame Sundari akka, along with nine others, for engaging in gambling at a lodge in Triplicane.A group was found playing cards for cash when a team of officers raided the premises based on a tip-off. The raid resulted in the seizure of cash and gambling materials from the room. They were booked and produced before the court.The arrested included Sundari akka’s son Nagamuthu, 36, and others—Mugilan, 40, Vedhagiri, 47, Rajendraprasad, 48, Suthirbabu, 33, Feroze Khan, 50, Antony, 25, Vinoth, 40, Murugan, 42, Jayaprakash, 40, and Balarama Krishnamurthy, 30—hailing from Triplicane, Royapettah, Royapuram and Alwarpet.
