Ara: Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Saturday addressed a well-attended public meeting at Charpokhari under the Agiaon assembly constituency in Bhojpur district.Speaking at the gathering, Kishor, popularly known as PK, appealed to voters to look beyond caste and party lines in the forthcoming assembly elections. “Till now, the people of Bihar have cast votes in the name of caste or party affiliation. But this time I appeal to you to cast your vote only for leaders or parties that guarantee a bright future for your children. Getting quality education and suitable employment for your children should be the only demand of the people of Bihar when leaders visit you and solicit your votes in the upcoming assembly election,” he said.In what appeared to be a left-handed compliment to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, Kishor said, “You should learn from Lalu Ji how to worry about the future of your children. No matter whether Laluji’s son is Class 9 pass or not, he aspires to make him the CM of Bihar. On the other hand, look at your pitiable condition. Despite being graduates, your children are jobless. If you don’t care about the future of your children and keep on casting votes on the basis of caste, religion and party, then don’t expect the leaders to ameliorate your condition.“
