Chennai: Velachery police arrested a 19-year-old on charges of sexual harassment after he was caught peeping into the bathroom of his neighbour, a 30-year-old woman, on Thursday night.Police said the incident occurred on Sept 11, when the woman was in the bathroom with her young daughter and noticed the youth peeping. She raised an alarm, and the youth fled the scene.Following the incident, the woman filed a complaint with Velachery police. Investigators reviewed CCTV camera footage from the locality, which corroborated the woman’s complaint. The youth was arrested on Friday and booked under provisions of sexual harassment. He was produced before a magistrate and remanded in judicial custody. TNN
