Times News NetworkLudhiana: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three young men she met on a social media platform. The girl said they planned to go for a film but the accused took her to a flat instead and raped her. A case has been filed against the three accused on the statement of the survivor’s mother. The girl said there were six boys at the scene but three of them were not involved in the rape. The complainant said her daughter went missing on Sept 9. When she did not return by the evening, she filed a missing complaint at the police station. She added that the girl came home next day and told her about her ordeal. She said the minor managed to escape from the flat and reach home. The FIR has been filed under sections 64 (rape), 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of BNS, and section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused are at large.
