Vadodara: Professor Ambika Patel, dean of the faculty of fine arts and director of the Maharaja Ranjitsinh Institute of Design at MS University, was invited as a speaker and panellist at the XI St Petersburg International United Cultures Forum organized by the Russian ministry of culture.This is her second appearance at the forum, with the invitation fully funded by the Russian govt. The conference, which began on Sept 11 and will run till Sunday, will see Patel speak at the session on ‘New Museums and Development Programs’.She also participated as a panellist in a discussion on ‘The Role of Museums as Spaces of Cultural Dialogue’, alongside representatives from Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Japan, China and Russia.
