Lucknow: The Kali Bari Temple Trust is organising a musical evening in the city on Sept 13 (Saturday) where famous singer Usha Uthup will belt out her popular songs. It will be a musical treat for the audience as Uthup, known for her unique voice and style, will present her hit chartbusters from Bollywood. The event being held at the Sant Gadgeji Maharaj auditorium in Gomtinagar will begin at 7pm. Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak will be the chief guest. Rani Singh, Dr S Munsi and Gaurav Gulati will be the guests of honour. A souvenir 2025 will also be released on the occasion.The Kali Bari situated in Ghasiyari Mandi is a 162-year-old temple of Goddess Kali and is immensely popular among the devotees. The temple plays a vital role in the social development and help to economically weaker people. The temple is known for its rich culture and heritage. The temple’s first priest was Madhusudan Mukherjee.
